Netbook of Bard Songs: Request for usage permission
Scroll down for list of songs and authors
Despite not being a filker, nor indeed exceptionally musical, I have been collecting gaming music from across the net for ages (literally - this project is about four years old now). I started collecting them for my own interest, but decided that I ought to share my efforts with others, so I hope to publish my anthology online as the third edition of the Netbook of Bardsongs (the first two were by Jeff Gostin, but, despite having an email address, he seems to be uncontactable). To do this in the most pleasant manner possible, I wish to get permission from all the people who have written the songs, *before* using their material (I've learnt from the HOPSFA Hymnal....).
The reason I'm posting this is in the hope that the author of an unattributed song surfs by or searches for their song on a search engine and this page comes up, they will contact me (hopefully giving permission for use)
my email address is currently
borg<at>kvetch<dot>silentflame<dot>com
(don't rely on it working for ever, but if the address is still up
on this page I am still using it)
Should you wish to contact me, my real name is Peter Mabbott (if you are chary
about approaching someone with a screen name that means 'to complain')
My full statement of intent is as follows:
The full list of songs with authors from whom I do not have permission follows. If you (any reader, this is an open request) notice any errors, please email to me. This list also includes unattributed songs/songs by authors with no email address, so, if you know how to contact (or are) the author of one of those songs please inform me.
If the authors below or anyone else have any more gaming songs you want to let me add to the collection, please send them along.
Thanks to everyone who takes the time to check over this page
